OUR MISSION

Learning is meant to be a natural, joyful experience. Children learn by playing, experimenting, exploring, and testing. They flourish when the process of discovery is lovingly encouraged and gently reinforced. This is the philosophy behind our research-based curriculum, which fosters individual growth by providing plenty of opportunities for exploration and child-initiated choice. All children need opportunities to be responsible, to make choices and to be treated with respect. Our programs encourage your child's growth and development with early learning experiences that build a strong foundation for his or her cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills.

WHAT WE FOCUS ON

Mitchell's Learning Institute Preschool is a preschool in Orlando that focuses on developing the socialization and self-help skills needed to have a positive self-image. We offer VPK Before and After School, Drop-In Care with our experienced teachers and a Wee Learn Curriculum.

MEALS AND SNACKS

MLI will provide breakfast (6:45 am-9:15 am), lunch (10:30-12:00), and two snacks per day, in accordance with the rules of the federally sponsored food program. MLI provides all food required for your child during his or her stay unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing.

Parents are welcome to prepare special birthday or holiday treats with advance notification they must be purchased from the store. We are on the federal food program for free and reduced lunch and can not take outside food unless from a STORE. Please bring enough for the entire group.

TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATIONS

MLI puts an effort into saving the planet by utilizing an app, ProCare, for teacher-parent communications to reduce paper waste. This app is also a convenient way to message the teachers and stay up to date with your children's daily activities. All check-in / check-out and payments are done through the app as well.
